Get Involved
Are you interested in being a part of Macon’s Reimagining Civic Commons Initiative?
Why Get Involved?
Macon’s RCC initiative is all about creating public spaces that people enjoy using, and creating spaces where everyone feels welcome. To make that possible, we rely on our neighbors and community members to get involved to create shared goals of fostering connection, belonging, and opportunity for everyone in Macon-Bibb.

Connect with your neighbors & strengthen your community
Getting outside and enjoying our parks and trails creates opportunities to get to know our neighbors and build our community. People are reporting increasing levels of loneliness and disconnection, but public parks and trails provide a backdrop for connection and community that leads to stronger neighborhoods and a stronger city.
